Norwegian vessel owner Solstad Offshore said it has signed a frame agreement with Saipem (Portugal) Comercio Maritime for the subsea construction support vessel “Normand Cutter”.

According to the Oslo-listed company the new deal is valid for 4 years.

Through this agreement, Saipem can utilize the “Normand Cutter” to support their subsea construction activities worldwide at pre-agreed commercial terms, Solstad noted.

The Ulstein-built 127.5 meters long vessel will be utilized for approximately 6 months from June 2017 on a project in West Africa.
