Offshore Marine Management (OMM) has won a coveted operations and maintenance (O&M) services contract, awarded by Iberdrola.
OMM will now lead on the contract to provide both topside and subsea O&M services for the Wikinger offshore wind farm, currently under construction in the Baltic Sea.
OMM will deliver annual maintenance inspections of Iberdrola’s structural and subsea/cable assets and subsea inspection services for the offshore wind farm.
Victor Rey , Iberdrola offshore O&M director, stated: “We are very pleased to award this contract to OMM and we look forward to integrating them into the project team for the operations and maintenance phase. We are confident that OMM’s experience and supply chain links will serve us well as we move towards the operations phase of Wikinger.”
