Edinburgh-based tidal energy developer Atlantis Resources is looking for a Project Resource Analyst who would join its project delivery team.

The responsibilities for the position include assessing the performance of turbines, assisting with power performance assessment testing, analysis of data, and reporting on the performance of the operating turbines.

The scope of work for the role also entails working on the optimization of the turbine array for future projects.

In addition, the successful candidate will be tasked with conducting full characterization of the tidal and wave environment at the MeyGen site, and optimizing the turbine array to minimize the cost of energy.

The closing date for applications to the position has been set for May 18, 2017.

As reported earlier, the Phase 1A of the MeyGen project has been completed . It included the installation and operation of four tidal turbines. The first three, made by Andritz Hydro Hammerfest, have already been retrieved for maintenance purposes, and are planned for redeployment in May.

The fourth tidal turbine, the AR1500, will be retrieved soon.
