Norwegian manufacturer of subsea equipment, Agility Subsea Fabrication (ASF) has delivered 2 pipeline end manifolds (PLEMs) and 3 subsea pipeline end termination (PLETs) destined for the Oseberg field, Vestflanken 2 development.
The structures have been manufactured at the company’s largest production site in Tønsberg.
Agility’s customer Technip was awarded by Statoil a contract for fabrication and installation of 7.5 kilometers of 14” production pipeline and 9 kilometers of 10” gas injection pipeline for Oseberg Vestflanken 2. Technip was also contracted to supply the umbilical to the Oseberg Vestflanken 2 field.
The Oseberg Vestflanken 2 development consists of an unmanned wellhead platform with ten well slots. In addition two existing subsea wells will be reused. All wells will be remote-controlled from Oseberg field centre.
