Greek shipping company Thenamaris revealed it has taken delivery of Seatriumph, a very large crude carrier (VLCC) newbuilding.
The construction of the 299,227 dwt tanker was completed this month at South Korean shipyard Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI), according to information provided by VesselsValue.
With a capacity of 337,941 cbm, Seatriumph features a length of 333 meters and a width of 60 meters.
The Bahamas-flagged vessel has a market value of USD 78.04 million.
Including the latest delivery, Thenamaris’ managed fleet currently comprises a total of 88 vessels, the company’s data shows.
Thenamaris is currently overseeing the construction of ten more newbuildings, being built at shipyards in Japan and South Korea.
The newbuildings being managed have a total capacity of over one million tons deadweight and include two VLCCs, two Suezmax tankers, three Aframax product carriers, and two Aframax crude carriers, the company’s website information shows.
Out of the batch of ten new ships, five are scheduled to be delivered in 2017 and the remaining five in 2018.
