Tekmar to Protect Arkona OWF Cables

Tekmar Energy has secured a contract by VBMS to supply 130 of its TekLink cable protection systems (CPS) on 385MW Arkona offshore wind farm in the German Baltic Sea.

The cable protection systems, along with j-tube bellmouths for the electrical offshore substation will be manufactured in Tekmar’s new production facility in the North East of England.

Manufacturing is expected to be completed in late 2017 and ready for offshore installation in 2018, the company informed.
