Wintershall Norge has awarded Engie Fabricom new well hook ups in 2017 under the frame agreement for modification, maintenance and prefabrication services.
The scope of work involves engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation and commissioning of wells on the Brage platform.
Engie Fabricom is responsible for all documentation and coordination with third parties, and the project starts immediately.
Engineering and prefabrication will be completed this summer. The installation offshore is foreseen during three campaigns in the fall 2017, the company said.
The Brage field is Wintershall Norge’s first operated production field. It is located on Blocks 30/6, 31/4, and 31/7, east of Oseberg in the northern part of the North Sea, 125 kilometres west of Bergen.
