Flex LNG, the shipping company controlled by billionaire John Fredriksen, is set to add six new liquefied natural gas carriers to its fleet by 2019.

Japan’s Mitsui O.S.K. Lines said the LNG carrier CESI Beihai, ordered by a joint venture of MOL, China COSCO Shipping and Sinopec was delivered at Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding in Shanghai.

BREAKING: Qatar to boost LNG export capacity

State-owned Qatar Petroleum on Wednesday said that it has signed an agreement with Japan’s engineering company Chiyoda to study further boosting its liquefied natural gas capacity in order to remain the world’s largest LNG exporter.
