LNG Gorskaya Overseas of Estonia signed a memorandum of understanding with Grenaa Havn to establish a liquefied natural gas bunkering facility at the Danish port.

According to the MoU, the two companies have agreed to cooperate on the construction of an LNG bunkering center with floating storage unit capable of holding 10,000 cubic meters of the chilled fuel.

Creation of capacities for bunkering of the liquefied gas will ensure fuel for vessels in the Danish straits, including water areas of the ports of Skagen, Goteborg, Malmo and Copenhagen.

LNG Gorskaya Overseas said it plans to develop LNG bunkering facilities in Lubeck (Germany), Montu, Pärnu (Estonia), Grenaa, (Denmark), Piteo (Sweden), Kotka-Hamina (Finland) and Liepaja (Latvia).
