Offshore Project Support (OPS) has signed a collaboration agreement with the UK-based Specialist Marine Consultants (SMC) to set up marine coordination centres in the Port of Den Helder and the Port of Eemshaven.

The collaboration is expected to pool the knowledge, experience and services of the two parties in order to provide a full package of services to their clients.

”OPS is looking forward to provide marine coordination to clients in the offshore wind industry. With SMC teaming up with OPS, we have years of experience in house with regards to marine coordination,” OPS Managing Director, Niels Noordeloos, said.

OPS is a joint venture between Den Helder Support Service (DHSS), Den Helder Aircraft Systems (DHAS), Glomar Offshore and GEOxyz.

The joint venture was established in September 2016 with the aim of providing a complete package of specialized services above and below water in the offshore energy industry.
