Hiretech Makes New Team Appointments

Hiretech has promoted John Milne to general manager, and appointed Jim McGregor as the company’s project manager. Hiretech has promoted John Milne to general manager, and appointed Jim McGregor as the company’s project manager.

The company which offers pumping spreads, powered umbilical reels, hydraulic power packs and supporting equipment, said it made the appointments to support its increase in product offerings and associated services.

Milne joined Hiretech in 2014 as engineering manager. Following this recent promotion, he is now responsible for overseeing the company’s day-to-day operations, including coordinating equipment schedules, resources and staff.

Referring to the promotion, Milne , said: “I am delighted to have been offered and to accept this new role. Having worked with the team here for nearly three years, I believe the level of commitment and service offered to our clients is one of the company’s major strengths and I intend to ensure this continues alongside the ongoing supply of high standard, reliable product packages.”

Jim McGregor in his new role will be is responsible for overseeing the delivery of projects and interacting with the client base.

McGregor stated: “I am excited to join such a forward thinking and innovative company and look forward to working with the team here. I have used Hiretech as a supplier in past roles and was encouraged by the reactive nature of the business, always willing to go the extra mile for their clients. I look forward to the new challenges this role will bring and to contributing to the ongoing success of the business.”

These appointments follow the recruitment of Steven Ferguson, business development manager last year. Since starting at the company, Ferguson has been responsible for developing accounts with existing and potential clients, and driving sales activity to expand the business in various markets.

Managing director of Hiretech, Andy Buchan , said: “We have brought together a strong skillset with a wealth of operational, technical and commercial expertise to help drive the business forward. I am excited about these developments and look forward to working with the team as we continue to cultivate client relationships and capitalise on new business opportunities whilst developing our services across global markets.”
