BIRNS, Inc. has expanded its sales team with the appointments of Alan Whitebook as sales applications engineer and Jenny Ong as customer service representative.
The company said that the additions to its sales team come amid demand for its lighting and connector systems.
As sales applications engineer, Whitebook will be responsible for the active sale of the company’s advanced deep submergence connectors and cable assemblies to worldwide users, comprising a combination of new prospects and existing customers. Prior to joining the team at BIRNS, he served in a range of sales leadership roles, including sales applications engineer for Diamond USA, Inc., and technical sales manager for Coastal Connections.
Ong will offer support to the BIRNS sales team in her role as customer service representative, and will work directly both with BIRNS customers and its dealer network to expedite orders throughout the sales cycle.
Ong has most recently worked as senior customer service representative for Power-One, Inc., and as customer service representative for Sony Electronics.
