Keppel wins LNG Lerici contract

Singapore’s Keppel Offshore & Marine has through its unit, Keppel Shipyard won a repair contract for the 65,000-cbm LNG Lerici carrier.

Keppel Shipyard will carry out major refurbishment for the LNG carrier that is managed by Belgium’s Exmar and owned by Eni of Italy.

Work on the vessel had already commenced and is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2018, Keppel said.

Besides this contract, Keppel won additional three contracts worth a total of S$85 million ($57.9m) for the conversion, repair and modification of vessels.
