Solstad Farstad (SOFF), a merger company of Solstad, Farstad and Deep Sea Supply (DESSC), has completed the sale and the delivery of the subsea construction vessel Rem Etive to Fugro.

The Oslo-listed company reached an agreement with Fugro for the sale of Rem Etive in February this year.

Prior to the delivery, the vessel was on a firm charter with Fugro until late-May 2017.

The Rem Etive features the 140T active heave compensated crane and 800 m2 back deck which makes it ideally suited for a range of offshore operations, including air and saturation diving.

The vessel, of Marin Teknikk MT6016 design, has an accommodation capacity for 100 personnel.

To assist the Rem Etive with various work scopes, two SMD Hydrovision Quantum 150 HP work-class remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) are installed onboard, each with a maximum operating depth of 3000 meters.
