Miclyn Express Offshore (MEO)’s vessel Voyager Explorer has mobilised for a 5-7 month project in Indonesia, providing seismic source services to an oil company in the region.

The vessel has been re-flagged to Indonesian flag and chartered to long-time client SeaBird Exploration, who will be executing the seismic services.

“After a period of inactivity in the seismic sector, it’s great to see our seismic source vessel back in operation,” said Adam Clayton , Head of Business Unit. “She has undergone significant reactivation and upgrade to position her for future work and it’s great to be working with our long-term partners SeaBird Exploration in delivering seismic source services from this vessel once again. We hope to keep her active in the region after this project”.

Voyager Explorer is a 2D/3D seismic source vessel built in 2005. The vessel has a length of 67.8 meters, a beam of 16 meters and it can accommodate 47 people onboard.
