Dunkerque LNG has named Béatrice Prud’homme as the company’s chair replacing Marc Girard who is set to head an EDF Group’s LNG project in Chile.
Alongside this new position as chair of Dunkerque LNG, Prud’homme retains her position as chair of Gaz-Opale, the company that operates the LNG terminal.
Since her arrival at EDF in 1993, she has held positions in the fields of safety, maintenance and operations on the Cattenom and Gravelines nuclear sites.
After joining the group audit division in Paris, she managed a thermal maintenance agency, an in-house service provider for EDF’s nuclear and fossil-fuel power plants. She then took up the position of deputy director of the Gravelines nuclear power plant.
Prud’homme joined Dunkerque LNG as executive director of operations in October 2013, and was appointed chair of Gaz-Opale immediately afterwards.
