Bibby Offshore, a UK-based subsea services provider to the oil and gas industry, has completed a project in the North Sea for Maersk Oil.
The company was hired to provide both late life production enhancement and decommissioning support in the North Sea.
The contract saw Bibby Offshore’s diving support vessel Bibby Polaris operate at two separate locations, undertaking production system isolations and critical component replacements to facilitate late life production enhancement, together with comprehensive decommissioning support, which includes subsea deconstruction and infrastructure recovery.
Completed in early July, the projects represented the latest in a number of contracts Maersk Oil has awarded Bibby Offshore within the past 12 months, the company said.
