At least four liquefied natural gas (LNG) shipments from Qatar are currently heading to Western Europe, according to the port and ship-tracking data.
The LNG cargoes are expected to land at terminals in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Belgium in the next ten days.
The UK’s South Hook terminal in the port of Milford Haven is expected to receive a cargo from Qatar onboard the Q-Max LNG carrier Lijmiliya on Thursday.
Another Q-Max, the 266,000-cbm Shagra is expected to deliver a Qatari cargo to South Hook on July 28, according to the marine data provider VesselsValue.
The data also shows that the Dutch Gate terminal is scheduled to receive a shipment from the world’s largest LNG complex in Ras Laffan around July 27. This shipment is being carried onboard the 216,000-cbm Q-Flex LNG carrier Al Gharrafa.
Last but not least, Belgium’s Zeebrugge LNG terminal is due to receive a cargo from Qatar onboard the 217,000 cbm LNG carrier Al Khuwair, the port data shows. The LNG carrier set of from Ras Laffan last week and is expected to dock at the Zeebrugge terminal on July 31.
