Marine Project Management (MPM) said it has enhanced its underwater facility cathodic protection (CP) survey system to include pipeline and structure UWI/UWILD integrity management features.

Interfaced with most ROV systems, the system is being rebranded as the ‘Subsea Integrity Management System’ (SIMS) and, according to MPM, will reduce underwater inspection costs in offshore spread time, reporting, and post-survey evaluation.

“The system, comprised of both hardware and software, has been developed from the ground up using feedback form our clients and input and direction from our inspectors that have nearly a century of combined underwater inspection project experience,” MPM noted.

MPM’S latest project utilizing SIMS included both close interval and EFG pipeline and jacket surveys. The company said it is in the contracting phase for 2017 GOM pipeline and structural inspection operations.
