Forland Subsea II AS, which bareboat charters the Fugro Saltire from E Forland AS, has received a notice of termination for convenience from time charterers Fugro Subsea Services.
The MV Fugro Saltire was built in 2008 and is under a long-term contract with Fugro Subsea Services.
The 11-meter vessel was responsible for cable burial on the Rampion offshore wind farm off the UK’s Sussex coast.
According to Forland, the termination will be effective as from October 1, 2017.
“Forland Subsea II AS will pursue any potential claims for losses arising out of the termination from Fugro Subsea Services,” the company said in Oslo Exchange filing on Wednesday.
The obligations of Fugro Subsea Services are guaranteed under a parent company guarantee issued by Fugro N.V.
