UK-based Optical Metrology Services (OMS) has announced the return of Dr Tim Clarke to the role of managing director.

Dr Clarke is the founder of OMS who also was the company’s CEO until July 2014 when he was replaced by Denise Smiles and appointed as non-executive chairman at the company.

Clarke said: “After taking some time away from the day to day running of OMS to work in the food service sector, I am now very excited by the prospect of heading up the company and growing the business in new market sectors.

“OMS have diversified from a single service company in to a more complete service provider to multiple industries. We are now concentrating efforts on inspection and sensing technology, offering solutions which can potentially save our clients millions through better understanding of their assets and how best to go about providing technical solutions.”
