Tekmar has recently completed the successful delivery of j-tube seals and bend restrictors for the Oseberg Vestflanken 2 project.
Oseberg Vestflanken 2 is located approximately 8km north-west of Oseberg field centre and includes Alpha, Gamma and Kappa oil and gas structures.
Tekmar designed, manufactured, tested and delivered all products in time for the client’s planned installation date.
Charlie Sullivan , Head of Subsea Sales & Strategy at Tekmar, said: “This project was our first opportunity to work with a new customer and we were very pleased to be able to successfully deliver on time and to specification. Additionally, we were able to utilise our new, state of the art, load test rig which has recently been installed at our Newton Aycliffe facility. This equipment enables us to test to much higher loads in house than previously and increases our capability for future projects.”
