Vattenfall has selected Offshore Marine People and Academy (OMPA) to provide a team of offshore installation managers to support their offshore wind operations.

OMPA’s Business Manager Antony Lewis said: “We are thrilled to have secured this contract with Vattenfall and are delighted to be able to provide them with our expertise.”

The four-year contract will run until June 2021 and implies that OMPA provides a team of offshore installation managers who will be overseeing and mobilising vessels, plants and people on numerous Vattenfall’s offshore projects.

“We work extremely hard to ensure that we train our team to the highest of standards and we are excited at their loyalty and willingness to continue to work with us. Creating opportunities for life is at the core of our belief, and it’s this that gives us the drive and determination to achieve the best results for all who work with and for us.”

OMPA, sister company of Offshore Marine Management, is a provider of training and personnel to offshore energy projects.
