U.S. oil major ExxonMobil has brought its Galveston 209 offshore platform and Hadrian South subsea production system in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico back online after shutting down due to hurricane Harvey.

Offshore production platforms in the Gulf of Mexico are beginning to return to normal operations, ExxonMobil said on Tuesday. Following the storm, the company has been assessing impacts on its onshore and offshore oil and gas production assets.

The company reported that its Galveston 209 offshore platform systems were safe and operational, and startup operations were underway. Furthermore, the Hadrian South subsea production system in the Gulf of Mexico has been deemed safe and operational, and production has resumed.

Hadrian South is a subsea production system with flowlines connected to the Anadarko-operated Lucius truss spar. Lucius started production in January 2015 and Hadrian South in March of the same year. It is located approximately 230 miles offshore in the Keathley Canyon area of the Gulf of Mexico in about 7,650 feet of water.
