LNG Croatia, the state-owned company developing the liquefied natural gas import terminal on the island of Krk, has invited bidders to take part in the purchase of a FSRU and the construction of the terminal’s jetty and the connecting pipeline.
Under the first tender, LNG Croatia invited companies to take part in the “procurement of goods and services consisting of delivery of the floating storage and regasification unit with the provision of FSRU operation and maintenance services.”
The second tender includes the participation in the works for the Krk LNG terminal consisting of the design and construction of a jetty, connecting gas pipeline and high-pressure installations including pigging station, water and drainage, auxiliary facilities and buildings.
The bid submission deadline for both of the tenders is September 29, until 2 p.m. local time.
According to the project development schedule, FSRU to serve the project will be procured by the end of the current year with an expected delivery by the end of 2019.
Commercial operations at the terminal are planned to start at the beginning of 2020.
