Ashtead Names UK Regional Director

Subsea equipment specialists Ashtead Technology has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Brett Lestrange as UK regional director. Lestrange will lead Ashtead’s UK sales and technical team to drive growth and support the company as it continues to innovate against a low oil price

Subsea equipment specialists Ashtead Technology has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Brett Lestrange as UK regional director.

Lestrange will lead Ashtead’s UK sales and technical team to drive growth and support the company as it continues to innovate against a low oil price environment.

Based in Aberdeen, Lestrange joins Ashtead from HCS Control Systems where he held the position of chief executive officer and developed the business as a service-led subsea manufacturing company, expanding its customer base locally and internationally.

Prior to this, he was a founding partner of Frontrow Energy Partners and held a number of senior and technical positions at Expro Group, including head of subsea.

Allan Pirie , chief executive of Ashtead said: “Brett’s appointment further strengthens the Aberdeen based team as the business continues to expand its service offering to support our customers’ ever more complex challenges.

“Brett brings a wealth of engineering expertise and a proven track-record in delivering customer focussed cost effective solutions which is our key goal.”
