Cosasco, the corrosion monitoring company, has appointed Anupam Sangal to the newly-created role of vice president of operations.

Sangal will also become a member of Cosasco’s board.

He takes the role from his existing position as operations manager. Based in Cosasco’s California headquarters, Sangal will be responsible for growing the company’s global footprint by forging strategic manufacturing partnerships across EMEA, China and India while ensuring international trade compliance. He will also rationalise product and supply chains and lead personnel development.

Mike D’Anzieri , president of Cosasco, says: “Anupam’s proactive, customer-centric approach makes him the ideal candidate for this role. We are the fastest growing and longest-standing corrosion monitoring company in the global oil and gas industry. This appointment demonstrates our commitment to delivering globally, across both our established and developing regions.”

Sangal adds: “As VP of operations I plan to maintain our high-quality operations across the globe while driving company growth. Cosasco’s highly sensitive corrosion monitoring and impressive history means we have a strong global foothold – I am looking forward to maintaining this and expanding Cosasco’s position in developing markets, such as China and India.”
