Four halls of the HUSUM Wind fair were evacuated today due to strong winds from a storm. The exhibitors and other visitors were asked to leave the lightweight halls 1-4, and gather in hall 5, which is in the main building, Offshore WIND team attending the event reports.
Since the weather persisted, the fair is now closed for the rest of the day. “The halls 1-4 will remain closed for the day due to the storm. Tomorrow morning we will continue as usual,” the organiser said via social media.
Over 650 exhibitors from the onshore and offshore wind industries are showcasing their products and innovations at HUSUM Wind this year.
The event is being held from 12 to 15 September.
