Deutsche Offshore Consult GmbH (DOC) wins the framework agreement for the installation management of subsea power cables for offshore wind farm projects in Germany, UK, the Netherlands and Denmark from Vattenfall.

The agreement was concluded for a period of four years.

DOC will support the installation, the marine coordination and the offshore construction at management level. Another part of the contractual scope is the support for a smooth running installation management of Vattenfall offshore wind projects.

DOC will also provide services to Vattenfall in such areas as project documentation, quality standards of project implementation and vessel management, specifically cable laying vessels.

“ DOC is proud to be able to support Vattenfall in the implementation of subsea power cable installations in future offshore wind farms. We are convinced that our team of offshore experts has the required know-how for these tasks and our long-standing experience can be contributed target-aimed,” said Oliver Spalthoff , managing director of DOC.

Vattenfall currently operates around 1,100 wind turbines on and offshore with an installed capacity of more than 2,500 MW.
