After intense deliberation with various educational institutions and companies, the date for the twelfth Navingo Maritime & Offshore Career Event (MOCE) has been selected as Wednesday 28th of March 2018.

WTC Rotterdam will be the scene of the largest and most complete career event in the maritime, offshore and energy sector of Europe. As was the case in previous years, the organisation Navingo BV welcomes both foreign and local visitors, as well as many top companies from the sector as exhibitor and partner.

Investing in the future

Innovation over the past years has helped make the Dutch maritime and offshore energy industry the globally renowned leader that it is today. Without the well-educated and qualified personnel, these innovations would not have been possible. To maintain this position, it is important to present the various profiles at all levels from within the sector covering all stages of careers from apprentice or student to qualified and experienced engineer, showing exactly what it is that makes participation in this industry so interesting. Being a platform for both education and career, MOCE is an important factor in the mission to ensure that technical and nautical expertise remains in this sector.

Focus on personal contact

In 2017, MOCE presented a more in-depth conference program that featured relevant themes and offered space for discussion. Over 100 partners used MOCE as a platform to showcase the important assets of their companies. The 3500 visitors were able to speak to the participating companies on the exhibition floor, but also had the chance to join interesting Master Classes or training programs these companies offered. This will also be the case for MOCE 2018, where solid attention will be given to personal contact and ‘matching’ visitors with companies.

Keep an eye on the website www.MOCE.biz and Facebook and Twitter for the program of 2018 and the latest information about participation for companies.
