2H Offshore’s Perth, Australia office has appointed Christian Wiebe as flexible riser expert.
Wiebe will be responsible for developing the flexible riser business in Perth and providing his expertise to 2H’s flexible riser projects globally.
He has over 12 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry with a focus on dynamic riser systems, balancing design and analysis experience with project management and delivery, both as a service provider and as an operator client.
Elizabeth Tellier , director, 2H Perth, said: “Christian brings a wealth of experience in subsea engineering and project management, but his focus on flexible risers and umbilicals will help us enhance the expertise we offer to our local clients.”
Wiebe started his career in Aberdeen, UK, as a riser analyst, after graduating from Robert Gordon University in 2005. He moved to Perth in 2008 where he has gained significant expertise in flexible pipe engineering, subsea pipeline design, package engineering, integrity management and project management.
