At least three liquefied natural gas (LNG) shipments from Qatar and Nigeria are currently heading to Western Europe, according to the port and ship-tracking data.
The LNG cargoes are expected to land at terminals in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands in the next seven days.
The UK’s Grain LNG terminal in Kent, operated by National Grid, is expected to receive a cargo from Qatar onboard one of the world’s largest LNG tankers, the 266,000-cbm Mozah.
Mozah is near the Grain facility and is expected to dock at the LNG import terminal on Tuesday, according to the marine data provider VesselsValue.
Besides this cargo, the 210,000-cbm Q-Flex LNG vessel Al Karaana is scheduled to deliver a shipment from Qatar to the UK on October 9. This cargo is to land at the South Hook terminal in the port of Milford Haven.
On the other side, the Dutch Gate terminal is scheduled to receive a shipment from Nigeria’s Bonny LNG plant this week.
LNG carrier La Mancha Knutsen, with a capacity of 176,300 cbm, is currently expected to deliver a cargo to Gate around October 6, the vessel’s AIS data shows.
