Liebherr-Werk Nenzing GmbH shared today this video of a duty cycle crawler crane type HS 8300 HD working in the Port of Piombino.
The duty cycle crawler crane, with hybrid drive system from Liebherr is currently being used to remove sediment and increase the depth of the water at the mouth of the port.
The HS 8300 HD with its impressive load capacity of 300 tonnes is one of the largest duty cycle crawler cranes worldwide.
This powerful machine is designed for material handling and can be operated with dragline buckets and different grabs with enormous volume capacity.
