Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference 2017 (OEEC) has come to an end, along with the Marine Energy Event that took place during the last day of OEEC in Amsterdam RAI.

Today’s video brings you the highlights of the final event day.

The Marine Energy Event featured a day full of interesting discussions and suggestions for the growth of marine energy sector and for bringing it closer to commercialization.

During the event the key messages were presented by every speaker.

The closing panel, which looked at opportunities for the future in marine energy, was moderated by Britta Schaffmeister from the Dutch Marine Energy Centre (DMEC), who challenged the speakers to make ‘bold statements’ about the sector.

The key speakers during the event included Ton Fijen, Tidal Lagoon Power, Eric van den Eijnden, Tidal Bridge, Joost Holleman, Twin Valleys, Olivier Benyessaad, Bureau Veritas, Antonio Jarquin Laguna, Delft University of Technology, Oliver Wragg, European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC) and Marcella Askew, Seabased.

At the end of a fully packed day the date of the OEEC 2018 edition was revealed. Next year the OEEC team will host you in Amsterdam on (22) 23 & 24 October 2018.
