Fluxys-operated Zeebrugge LNG terminal in Belgium is set to receive a fresh cargo of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Norway.

The GDF Suez Point Fortin liquefied natural gas carrier, with the capacity to transport 154,200 cubic meters of LNG, departed Statoil’s Hammerfest liquefaction facility on October 25.

The vessel, owned by a consortium led by Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) and operated by MOL for Engie under a twenty-year charter agreement is scheduled to arrive at the Fluxys-operated Zeebrugge LNG terminal on November 18.

The vessel underwent a two-week maintenance during May at the Damen Shiprepair Brest before returning to service.

The Zeebrugge LNG terminal, that mainly imports LNG from Qatar, has an annual throughput capacity of nine billion cubic meters of natural gas.
