Parkwind has invited bidders for export cable for the Northwester 2 offshore wind farm.

According to tender documents, the project encompasses the design, manufacture, supply, installation and termination works of the export cable for the Northwester 2 OWF.

The export cable is a 225 kV 3-phase submarine cable and has an approximate length of 17 kilometers.

The Northwester 2 concession is located approximately 50 kilometers in front of the coast of Zeebrugge, Belgium.

The wind farm will have a total installed power of maximum 228 MW to be connected to the modular offshore grid (MOG) of ELIA which will be operational in Q3 2019.

The contract, dividend into two lots, has a duration of 18 months. The first lot includes the design, manufacture, supply and termination works of the export cable, while the second lot is for the installation works.

Parkwind has set the deadline for submission of bids for December 22, 2017.
