Dutch-based shipping company Vroon has informed that its two vessels VOS Patience and VOS Partner recently started a charter for TechnipFMC.
The two platform-supply vessels (PSV) were delivered in Malta and will support TechnipFMC, supplying pipelines and subsea materials to TechnipFMC’s construction assets offshore in the Mediterranean.
Both units will operate in the Mediterranean for two, non-consecutive phases in 2017 and 2018.
VOS Patience and VOS Partner, designed by Ulstein, are two of a series of six PX121-type PSVs, constructed for Vroon at the COSCO Guangdong Shipyard in China.
Both vessels are under commercial and operational management by VOS Genoa.
