Dragflow, an Italian manufacturer of heavy duty pumps and complete dredging equipment, recently delivered two electric submersible pumps EL12.5SS with high pressure water jets to Argentina.
According to Dragflow, these pumps are capable to discharge 50m³/h flow rate with a solid concentration over 50% by volume.
“ The end user, an Argentinian company providing services to the oil industry, was looking for the appropriate equipment for tailing pond reclamation ,” the company said in their release.
The main goal of this project was reclamation of tailings mixed with crude oil from a pond in an oil refinery plant for environmental remediation.
Dragflow submersible dredge pumps have been designed and built to work especially in harsh conditions where generally normal pumps cannot operate.
