Dragflow SRL, an Italian manufacturer of dredging equipment, recently supplied brand-new hydraulic pump to the Ukrainian company Nibulon.

According to the company, the pump HY 400 HC have been sold to Nibulon for the use on their new dredger ‘Mykolaivets’.

“ Thanks to our pump, the vessel is able to transfer 2400m³ of pulp per hour to a distance of 1.5 km, ” Dragflow said.

The new self-propelled dredger was recently put to the test, deepening the rocky bottom of the Dnipro River in Kamianske town (Dnipropetrovsk region). The ‘Mykolaivets’, launched on September 17, is equipped with an excavator and a hydraulic hammer which is capable of crashing rocks, as well as with the hydraulic pump station.

The newbuild, rigged with the Dragflow’s hydraulic pump, will allow to deepen the Dnipro River, the Southern Buh River, and the water area of ports and terminals to the depths that are necessary for the effective working of the fleet operating in these waterways.
