Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA) Norway has recently carried out an inspection of four main suppliers of subsea facilities.

According to PSA, the main suppliers of subsea facilities are TechnipFMC, Aker Solutions, OneSubsea and Baker Hughes (GE).

The objective of the audit was to see how the suppliers monitor their equipment through the different phases of its life.

“ We wanted to be made aware of the present status and of the development of new technology in this area, ” PSA said.

The activity also covered how the main suppliers follow up their subcontractors.

The audit took place in the form of meetings and reviews of the facilities.
