Oslo-listed seismic contractor Polarcus has received a contract award for a 3D project in the Caribbean.
The project will begin in Q2 2018, and it will last for two months.
Polarcus will use its XArray methodology to optimize both data quality and acquisition efficiency, the company said.
Polarcus XArray is an acquisition configuration developed by Polarcus. XArray provides improved in-line shots and cross-line bin density on any streamer separation and can tailor the acquisition to provide higher fold data, increase cross line sampling and/or improve acquisition efficiency.
