Fluxys-operated Zeebrugge LNG terminal in Belgium has booked its first cargo of liquefied natural gas for the year 2018.
According to the shipping data, Al Sahla LNG tanker with a capacity to transport 216.200 cubic meters of the chilled fuel is scheduled to dock at the terminal on January 2.
The vessel departed the Qatari Ras Laffan LNG complex on December 16.
The vessel was built in 2008 by the South Korean shipbuilder Hyundai Heavy Industries and chartered on a long-term contract to RasGas.
The Zeebrugge LNG terminal, that mainly imports LNG from Qatar, has an annual throughput capacity of nine billion cubic meters of natural gas.
