Royal IHC: Keel Laying for TSHD Lesse at MTG Dolphin

The keel laying ceremony for the trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD) Lesse was held today in Bulgaria, Royal IHC said in their latest announcement.

The event for the 2,300m³ vessel took place at IHC’s partner shipyard MTG Dolphin in Varna.

According to Maarten Nieuwdorp – Project Manager of Baggerbedrijf de Boer – Dutch Dredging placed a bitcoin underneath the keel block, marking the start of the consolidation phase for the vessel.

The TSHD is expected to be delivered in the first quarter of 2019.
