The Offshore Wind Innovation Exchange (OWiX) has launched a new Call for Ideas for innovative solutions in automated painting, inspection and fault finding in large composite structures.

The Offshore Wind Innovation Exchange (OWiX) has launched a new Call for Ideas for innovative solutions in automated painting, inspection and fault finding in large composite structures.

The latest call concerns automating and accelerating the coating process for large composite structures, automating inspection of coatings during production of large composite structures, and improving NDT capabilities for enhanced defect identification during production of large composite structures.

The call will close on Friday, 16 February 2018.

OWiX is an innovation programme that has worked closely with offshore wind farm operators and manufacturers to identify high priority innovation challenges. It launches these challenges in a competition to provide opportunities for British businesses to enter the market.
