Monaco-based LNG shipper GasLog has taken the delivery of a newbuild 174,000-cbm vessel at the South Korean shipbuilder Hyundai Heavy Industries.
The vessel named GasLog Houston “left the yard yesterday and today goes on charter”, Gaslog said in a brief statement on Thursday through its social media channels without providing any additional info.
According to GasLog’s website, the LNG carrier is powered by two stroke diesel engines with low-pressure gas injection (LP-2S).
The vessel data provided by VesselsValue shows that the 290m-long tanker has been previously chartered by the LNG giant Shell.
The data also says that the vessel is currently worth at around $182 million.
