Tekmar Energy (Tekmar) has been awarded three contracts for the Hornsea ONE offshore wind farm, located in the North Sea off the coast of England.

Tekmar secured three separate contracts through different customers to supply TekLink cable protection systems (CPS), cable hang-off clamps (HOC) and cable joint protection for the project.

According to Tekmar, all the contracts are planned to be delivered in early 2018.

The Hornsea ONE offshore wind farm, located 120 km off the Yorkshire coast, will become the world’s largest offshore wind farm once in operation in 2020.

The wind farm, owned by Ørsted, will consist of 174 Siemens 7MW turbines covering an area of approximately 406 km2.
