Aker Solutions has completed the installation of the first subsea manifold at Petrobras’ Iracema Sul area in the Santos Basin.
Three more manifolds will be installed by May 2018, the company informed through social media.
“Congratulations to the teams on the successful installation of our first Water Alternating Gas (WAG) manifold in Brazil, at water depths of more than 2,200 meters. This is one of our deepest equipment installations in the world, ” said Luis Araujo , Aker Solutions CEO.
The Iracema Sul is an area located in the Lula field, in block BM-S-11, in the pre-salt of the Santos Basin.
Petrobras started production from the area through the FPSO Cidade de Mangaratiba in 2014.
The FPSO is capable of processing 150,000 barrels of oil per day, 280 MM standard cubic feet of gas per day and has storage of 1,600,000 barrels of total fluids.
