N-Seatec, the Netherlands-based technical solutions provider, has received an order for the design and delivery of a large electronics box (EPOD).
This EPOD will be used on a subsea template and is the interface between all subsea sensors and topside, the company explained.
Design of the stainless steel housing will be for 100 meters water depth. The main flanges will get a range of power, signal and ethernet connectors.
Delivery also includes the umbilical termination box and fibre optic interconnection.
According to the company, the delivery is scheduled for the first quarter of 2018.
