Dubai-based offshore geophysical contractor Polarcus said it has been awarded a contract for a 4D marine seismic acquisition project in the Asia Pacific region.
According to the company’s Oslo Stock Exchange filing, the project is set to begin in the first quarter 2018 and shold run for about one month.
Following this award the company said its active fleet is now 100 percent booked in Q1. However, Polarcus has not disclosed the vessel designated to carry out the survey.
The 4D survey is for an undisclosed client. The financial details surrounding the deal have also been kept private.
