Aker Solutions has delivered Dvalin subsea template to DEA Norge on time and budget.

The production of the template took 15 months at the Aker Solutions yard in Egersund.

Petter Øhlckers , the Dvalin project SPS manager, said: “ DEA is very pleased with the work performed by Aker Solutions, ensuring that the Integrated Template Structure (ITS) is delivered on time, in accordance with DEA’s specification and – most importantly – without any HSE incidents.

“For the Dvalin project this is the first major hardware milestone and an important step towards successful completion of the project.”

The ITS will be stored in Egersund until load out and installation on the Dvalin field by TechnipFMC, which is planned to take place in April 2018.

Aker Solutions in Egersund will also continue the assembly work on the manifold module, which is on schedule for delivery in Q1 2019.

DEA Norge received the green light for the Dvalin development in March 2017. The development costs of Dvalin are estimated at EUR 1.1 billion (NOK 10 billion).
